GL.iNet GL-SFT1200 "Opal"
FieldNOC's current pod workflow is built around the GL-SFT1200. Other OpenWrt devices may work if they expose the same pod API, but the reference target is the supported path.
The reference pod is a GL.iNet GL-SFT1200 "Opal" travel router. FieldNOC can deploy the pod agent over SSH or flash a compatible FieldNOC image, then read diagnostics from the pod API on your local network.

FieldNOC Pro unlocks app features that communicate with the pod. It does not include, sell, ship, or warranty the physical GL.iNet hardware.
The app talks to the pod over the local network, typically at http://192.168.8.1:8080 after setup.
These workflows are built for jobs where mobile operating systems do not expose the low-level network data directly.
LLDP/CDP switch and port details, VLAN, PoE, and management IP context.
All-band AP survey through the pod, including iPhone workflows.
Short WAN-side captures with downloadable PCAP files.
Native/tagged VLAN hints from discovery and packet samples.
Lease, gateway, DNS, domain, and raw pod WAN status.
API checks, storage, dependency, and capability status.
Generate traffic to identify the pod's switch port in CAM, ARP, or live views.
Read the pod's local neighbor table for IP/MAC visibility.
The in-app setup guide is available without Pro so techs can understand the hardware path first.
